Dear Changemaker,
When Globally Green began in 2020, I never imagined how far the journey would take us.
What started as a global project campaign competition became a turning point. When the competition ended, I found myself these questions: Why does making an impact have to stop because a competition did?, What if we didn’t stop here? Which next heart can we inspire? What next problem can we solve?
There were still environmental challenges around us. There were still communities that needed to be heard, young people who needed to be empowered, and ideas that deserved the opportunity to become action.
So, we continued.
Over the years, I have come to understand that environmental change is not created by one person, one organization, or one big idea. It is built through people, through conversations, education, community action, partnerships, innovation, and the courage to keep showing up.
This understanding has shaped Globally Green.
We are building more than an environmental organization. We are building a community of people who believe that they have a role to play in shaping the future of our planet.
Our work is rooted in a simple belief: when people are informed and empowered, they can become powerful agents of change.
That is why we care deeply about climate education, youth engagement, environmental advocacy, conservation, sustainability, and community-led action. We want to create spaces where people will not just learn about environmental challenges, but feel empowered to do something about them.
The journey has not always been easy. Building an intentional organization requires patience, resilience, learning, and a willingness to keep believing in the vision even when the path is uncertain. But every individual we engage, every community we reach, every partnership we build, and every conversation we start reminds me why we began.
I am incredibly proud of how far Globally Green has come and even more excited about the journey ahead.
Our planet needs people who care. It needs people who are willing to learn, collaborate, innovate, and act. And I believe that together, we can create a future where environmental sustainability is not simply an ambition, but a way of life.
Thank you to everyone who has believed in this vision, walked alongside us, supported our work, and contributed to the journey in ways both big and small.
The story that began with a competition continues as a commitment to our communities, to our planet, and to generations yet to come.
